In light of the unprecedented environment regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking measures to ensure everyone’s safety. Although there are relatively few confirmed cases in Canada at this time, the number is expected to increase in the coming weeks. For this reason, we are avoiding in-person client meetings until further notice. Your wealth expert can be contacted by phone, email or other virtual means.

Please be assured that our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is in place, and that all of our core and critical functions remain intact. In the event that we need to further restrict access to our offices, we have the ability to work remotely. As always, safeguarding your wealth and future well-being is our number one priority and we are available for you at all times.

 As tax season is fast approaching, some of our clients have already begun to send in their tax information. If you have not yet sent in your tax documents, or are newly interested in having your taxes prepared by us, we request that you send your information electronically wherever possible. If you would like to summarize the total medical and donation receipts rather than scanning all of them – that is also an option. In the event of a CRA/Revenu Québec information request, we will ask you to provide copies of the slips at that time. Sending information electronically, will allow for the least amount of disruption. It is yet to be seen if CRA/Revenu Québec will extend the deadline for tax filing.

 There are two options for sending us your tax information electronically.

•     By email with a password protected PDF.

•     By secure portal. If you are not currently set up for this, we will need confirmation from you with the email address you would like to use. We will initiate the next steps and then you will receive an email confirmation by CCH Canada Portal
